Work Smart. Work Hard. You Can Achieve It.
Anything is achievable if you have the right mindset. Growing up poor in Indiana, Timothy quickly learned the value of hard work and kindness. As a young teenager, Timothy began exploring his passion for entrepreneurship and creativity. From selling newspapers to hosting dance and theatrical events, he developed the skills that have helped him succeed in his career today.
Since 2021, Timothy has served as Officer of Marketing and Communications for Capital for Change, Connecticut's largest Community Development Financial Institution headquartered in Wallingford, Connecticut. In this role, He is responsible for leading branding, marketing, and public relations initiatives that help promote and build awareness for the organization.
Before Capital for Change, Timothy was the Marketing and Membership Manager at the world-renowned Mory's Association, a Yale University Club dating back to 1849. In this role he was responsible for planning and hosting a wide range of events, including concerts, talks, special events, and club history tours. Timothy restructured the club's membership offerings and event programming through his "Mory's and You," a Yale University DEI initiative, which was highly successful. Mory's is considered one of the oldest and most prestigious country clubs in the US, and Timothy's contributions were instrumental in its continued success.
Prior to the Mory's Association - A Yale University Club, Timothy was the CMO and Founder of Integrated Marketing and Design Services (IMDS). In 2002, Timothy founded Integrated Marketing and Design Services, a marketing firm specializing in brand development, PR, graphic design, E-commerce, and technology solutions. Its slogan, "Where Technology Meets the Creative Process," reflected the firm's mission and focus on innovative strategies that help businesses grow. Over the years, Timothy worked with a wide range of brands, including Yale University, Mory's, NAACP, EveryDay Rachael Ray Magazine, American Express, and DIY TV.
Be Creative. Be Kind.
Be of Service To Your Community.
Before opening Integrated Marketing & Design Services, Timothy and his wife were proud owners of the Gospel Cafe, New England's first Religious Bookstore and Coffeehouse. The Gospel Cafe quickly became a popular destination, attracting patrons from Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City. It was a place where people could come relax, read, be entertained, and enjoy a cup of coffee while surrounded by a welcoming and inclusive environment. The Gospel Cafe received recognition both locally and nationally, and was featured in national publications such as UpScale Magazine (a division of Ebony Magazine), Gospel Today, and Christianity Today. It also won numerous community and small business awards, which was a testament to the quality of service and commitment to excellence that Timothy and his wife brought to their business.
