Resolving Conflict
and Peace-ing It Together!
For more than two decades, I have been engaging communities across Connecticut, partnering with nonprofits, schools, and community leaders to design and deliver training programs in mediation and conflict resolution, self‑sufficiency, job readiness, and re‑entry preparation. My mediation career began at just 18, when I became a certified mediator—quickly earning recognition for my ability to connect with individuals others often found unreachable.
By 25, I had already mediated more than 100 community and court‑referred cases, including landlord–tenant disputes, gang‑related conflict, workplace issues, and family and school‑based challenges. My commitment to violence prevention and community healing earned me numerous community service awards, including recognition as Mediator of the Year.
With over 25 years of experience, I have facilitated hundreds of cases and served in key roles within the legal system, including Paralegal and Courtroom Deputy for the United States District Court. My work has consistently centered on helping people navigate conflict with dignity, clarity, and compassion.
Today, I continue to lead mediation and conflict resolution trainings for both youth and adults. I am the co‑author of Youth Peer Mediation, a curriculum that has trained hundreds of teens and has been recognized by California’s Kids Managing Conflict, as well as adopted within Alaska’s juvenile court systems. I am also the co‑author of Everyday Mediation, which has been used to train adults and police officers in community mediation and conflict resolution
